This Privacy Policy explains how Pricing Profit handles information when contractors and small service businesses use our website, electrical pricing application, account services, and related support or research programs.
Information you provide
Account information
We process your email address, authentication identity, account identifiers, and account-security events. Authentication is provided through Supabase. Pricing Profit does not receive or store your plaintext password.
Business information
You may provide a business name, trade, address, phone number, email address, license information, and reusable estimate-document settings.
Private business financial and pricing information
The application stores information associated with your private workspace, including labor and compensation assumptions, payroll burden, benefits, overhead, billable hours, material and direct costs, markups, target margins, service prices, estimates, job actuals, variances, and pricing-performance history.
Information about your customers and jobs
You may enter customer names, service addresses, customer email addresses or phone numbers, job descriptions, estimate lines, and customer-facing notes. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right and authority to provide and use information about customers, employees, subcontractors, or other individuals through Pricing Profit.
Marketing and product research
Our access and research forms may collect email, business size, current pricing method, pricing challenges, price-interest responses, campaign attribution, and related feedback. Requests for access may receive operational messages about that request. Promotional marketing consent, where requested, is separate and optional.
Information collected automatically
We may collect a first-party session identifier, page path, referral or campaign information, browser or device information available in normal web requests, login/account events, feature-usage events, error and security logs, and basic first-party analytics. We do not currently use the site to request precise location, contacts, microphone, or camera access.
Cookies and local storage
Supabase uses necessary browser storage or cookies to maintain authenticated sessions. Pricing Profit also uses first-party local storage for a pseudonymous analytics session identifier and initial campaign attribution. The current site does not use advertising pixels or cross-site behavioral advertising trackers. If non-essential advertising technology is added later, we will reevaluate notice and consent requirements before using it.
How we use information
We use information to operate and secure Pricing Profit; authenticate users; maintain private business workspaces; calculate pricing and job economics; save services, estimates, jobs, actuals, and immutable history; fulfill and administer purchases; generate user-controlled historical insights; create customer estimate output; troubleshoot and improve the product; respond to support, privacy, security, refund, and dispute requests; conduct product research; and measure marketing effectiveness. We do not use customer financial or pricing data to train public AI models.
Payments
Stripe hosts the payment form and processes payment-method information. Pricing Profit stores commercial records such as the purchased product, amount, currency, status, policy versions, campaign attribution, and Stripe transaction references needed for fulfillment, refunds, disputes, fraud prevention, support, and accounting. Pricing Profit does not receive or store full card numbers or card security codes.
Service providers and disclosures
Pricing Profit relies on service providers acting on our behalf, including OpenAI/ChatGPT Sites infrastructure for website and application hosting, Supabase for authentication, Stripe for payment processing, and Google infrastructure for the current marketing-lead reporting spreadsheet. These providers may process limited information needed to provide their services. Account or security messages may also pass through the authentication provider’s delivery infrastructure. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users or the service, investigate abuse, or complete a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
No sale of personal information
Pricing Profit does not sell personal information to advertisers or data brokers. This does not prevent limited disclosure to service providers operating the service on our behalf.
Retention
Active account data is retained while needed to provide the service. Certain records may be retained for legitimate business, security, legal, dispute, accounting, fraud-prevention, or backup purposes. Marketing suppression and opt-out records may be retained so future preferences can be honored. We do not promise immediate deletion from every backup.
Access, correction, export, and deletion
You may contact Pricing Profit to request access to or correction of account information, account or data deletion, a reasonable export where available, or a marketing opt-out. Requests are handled consistent with available functionality, legitimate retention needs, identity verification, and applicable law. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law.
Security
We use authenticated access, server-side business ownership checks, encrypted HTTPS transport, a dedicated authentication provider, and service-provider safeguards. Access to private business data is limited to operating and supporting the service. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Pricing Profit is a business tool and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly design the service to collect information from children.
Policy updates
We may update this policy as the product, providers, or legal obligations change. Material changes may be communicated through the site, application, email, or another reasonable method where appropriate.
